Nice place, excellent price. Everything in walking distance. Train is under the window it can get loud but you probably will be to tired from hikes and won’t notice it as much ! Would stay again. Thank you hotel for helping with luggage storage and being super friendly!

The tour company we used to guide us on an Incan trail trek, SAM Travel out of Cusco,.booked us into this hotel after a 6 day hike on the Salkantay and Incan trails. Our guide told us there were complaints about the noise, but our room was so loud as to be comical. There's a train station directly across the street and also a trolley line (?). The trains stop at 11 pm but they were doing some work with loud machines on the trolley line. When the workers took a break and the machine noise stopped, the large group of workers carried on in loud voices. The room was stuffy because there is no a/c, so there was a choice between tolerating the heat or opening the window, having more noise and mosquitoes get in the room. The staff was very nice, but I would advise against staying here if you're concerned about getting a good night's sleep.

The river view rooms in this hotel are amazing! Bedroom and bath were nice also. Staff was very helpful with storing luggage for us. The breakfast was well stocked and started at 5:30 which allowed us a bite before our Machu Picchu tour. The location is on the train tracks but we had no issues with noise if on the river side.

Hotel is slightly out of town, but surrounded by good restaurants. Sadly, our room faced the train tracks, which were very loud.

The hotel in Aguas Calientes, is situated on the River… a very low key, unwelcoming lobby. This accommodation was included as part of a TripAdvisor Machu Picchu 2 day tour. After a full day of visiting/touring the historical site, we checked in very late afternoon. The front desk never gave us internet password, nor told us what floor breakfast following day would be on. We left for dinner and upon returning were told all electricity in bldg was being shut off at 4am following day…and we were given a single candle. What a mess…first of all, in USA, that alone is a code violation. Second of all, try waking up in pitch black at 5 am to get ready for a Machu Picchu tour, shower, pack dress w/ a single candles light…what happened to emergency flashlights?1 Terrible, unsafe, just downright insane.

We loved Hotel Ferre Machu Picchu. They picked us up in the train station with a sign with our name on it and escorted us the short walk to the hotel. Friendly check in & great breakfast. The hotel is in my preferred location too on the river at the bottom of Aguas Calientes. We go often for business/pleasure and will return again. THANK YOU!!!
